According to the mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, he feels fine, but due to the illness with the coronavirus infection, he goes into self-isolation and works from home.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on Telegram on October 24 that he had received a positive test for COVID-19 coronavirus infection.

“The coronavirus appeared at the most inopportune moment. Today I tested positive,” he wrote.

Klitschko said he regularly visited infectious disease hospitals, but “tried to be careful.”

“Given the details of my job, I tested regularly. Today’s sadly disappointing. I feel good. But I have to isolate myself. I will work from home,” he said.



An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. March 11, 2020 World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic.

7,014 cases of infection have been confirmed in Ukraine during the last day, since the beginning of the pandemic the coronavirus has been infected 337 410 Ukrainians, 6289 patients died, 139 755 recovered.
