Donald Trump and the Chairman of the DPRK State Council, Kim Jong-un
US policy towards the DPRK will not change and this does not depend on who holds the leadership positions in Washington, believes the DPRK leader.
At the 8th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the Chairman of the DPRK State Council, Kim Jong-un, said that Washington is Pyongyang’s main enemy. This was announced on Saturday, January 9, by the Korean Central Telegraph Agency (CTAC).
According to the North Korean leader, US policy toward the DPRK will not change, regardless of who holds positions in the US administration. He stressed that only a rejection of “hostile policy” can help improve relations between the two countries.
He also stressed that Pyongyang should continue to develop its nuclear arsenal, but assured that the DPRK will use nuclear weapons only if hostile forces attack it first.
Note that in his New Years greetings, Kim Jong-un said that in 2021, the DPRK will approach a new era, when the “ideals and aspirations” of the people of the country will come true.
