The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG noted that this year Ukraine is in a better negotiating situation than before.

At the Norman Quartet meeting, Ukraine intends to present its action plan to resolve the situation in Donbass. This was announced on Saturday, October 31, by the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass Leonid Kravchuk on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24.

“Now the Ukrainian side is preparing an action plan to resolve the situation in Donbass. We are ready to present its draft at the (Normandy – ed.) Meeting in the near future and analyze the proposals from all parties,” said the first Ukrainian president.

At the same time, he pointed out that this year Kiev is in a better negotiating situation than before.

“I am convinced that we will make a decision and move forward,” Kravchuk said, adding that otherwise negotiations will continue.

Recall that on September 11 a meeting of political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy Quartet took place in Berlin. As a result, the President’s Office said that the negotiators had listened to Kiev. The date of the meeting of the leaders of “Normandy” has not yet been set.

It was also reported that on Friday Ukraine started an urgent meeting of the security subgroup in the TCG for the death of two servicemen in Donbas, in which it demanded that the Russian Federation take immediate measures to end the violation of the ceasefire.
