In Kiev, a group of apartment thieves organized by law enforcement officers was discovered who managed to steal $ 13,000 from an apartment. The gang has been operating since May, according to the press service of the Kiev city prosecutor’s office.

“According to the investigation materials, in May 2020, two law enforcement officers from the capital, having entered into an agreement with three Georgian nationals, committed burglary at the residence of a Kiev resident and seized nearly $ 13,000, which was distributed among them, “says the message.

Police conducted five searches of the suspects’ residences and found physical evidence. In particular, it was possible to find the master keys, with the help of which the “thieves” entered the dwellings.

Now the question of the choice of containment measures by the suspects in the form of detention is decided, the prosecution added.
