In Kiev, in case of falling into the “red” quarantine zone, the subway can be closed again. Minibuses in the capital can also be banned.
This was stated in an interview with “Segodnya” by the chief medical officer Viktor Lyashko.
According to him, in regions with a “red” level of epidemic danger, there are two points that are related to public transport.
“The first is to restrict the work of public transport. The second is to ban boarding of interregional and interregional transport. Routes going from Kiev may also be prohibited. I will not say that this will be introduced immediately, but this option is not ruled out.” Lyashko said.
We will recall, in the updated list of quarantine zones Kiev remained “orange”.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that the State Consumer Service of the capital mentioned the conditions under which Kiev can be in the “red” quarantine zone.
Please note that 6754 new coronavirus cases are confirmed in Ukraine per day. Of these, more than 500 cases are in Kiev.
As of November 2, hospital beds in Kiev are 76% full. In total, almost 67% of those beds are occupied in the country.
