The State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies has determined which quarantine restrictions will be in force in the regions of Ukraine as of Monday, October 12. As we previously reported, Kiev, after a week in the “yellow” zone, will fall back into the “orange” quarantine zone.
This was announced on Friday, October 9, by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov.
If in “Red” The zone will be assigned as of Monday:
- the city of Kanev, Cherkasy region;
- city Sumy Sumy region.
TO “orange” will get:
- city Vinnytsia, Vinnytsia and Nemirovsky districts of the Vinnytsia region;
- cities Lutsk, The Vladimir-Volynskiy, Kovel and Novovolynsk, Vladimir-Volynskiy, Kivertsovskiy, Lutskiy, Rozhischenskiy and Tereiskaya districts of the Volyn region;
- city Dnieper and the Dnepropetrovsk region of the Dnepropetrovsk region;
- the cities of Bakhmut, Ugledar, Kramatorsk, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk and Slavyansk, Slavyansky district of the Donetsk region;
- cities Zhytomyr, Berdichev, Korosten and Novograd-Volynsky, Berdichevsky, Zhitomirsky, Korostensky, Korostyshevsky, Luginsky, Lyubarsky, Naroditsky, Ovruchsky, Olevsky, Pulinsky, Chernyakhovsky and Chudnovsky districts of the Zhytomyr region;

The rest of the regions, cities and towns of Ukraine are classified as “green” zone.
Let us also remember the restrictions that correspond to each of the quarantine zones in Ukraine.
“Green”… According to its rules, the use of masks or respirators is mandatory in public buildings; cinemas must operate with a maximum occupancy of 50%; passenger transport is carried out only within the seating areas in transport. Also, nightclubs cannot function in this quarantine zone.
“Yellow”… In addition to the restrictions of the green zone, it provides: prohibition of visits to social protection institutions in which older people are, except those that provide services in case of crisis.
“Orange”… In addition to the “yellow zone” restrictions, it provides for the prohibition of: the activity of accommodation facilities (hostels, tourist centers, etc.), except hotels; activities of entertainment establishments, night restaurants; planned hospitalizations; gym work, fitness centers, cultural institutions; acceptance of new shifts in children’s camps; Holding massive events with an audience of more than 1 person per 20 square meters and more than 100 people.
“Red”… In addition to the restrictions of the “orange zone”, it provides for the prohibition of public transport, visits to educational institutions, as well as the activities of shopping and entertainment centers, cafes and restaurants.
These epidemic levels are established for 14 days.
Recall, today in Ukraine another anti-record was broken again in the number of new cases of Covid-19. During the day 5,804 were identified.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said that despite the sharp increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in recent days, there will be no strict quarantine in Ukraine.
