Donbass restoration requires $ 15-21 billion. This amount was appointed by the adviser on information policy of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) Oleksiy Arestovich, reports RIA Novosti.
According to him, this is why he previously proposed to make Donbass a priority development zone. “There are countries and international organizations that are willing to invest and help in matters of demining, environmental hazards and the like. But the first condition is demilitarization, ”Arestovich said.
Earlier, he claimed that the delegation had developed a “Joint Steps Plan”, according to which, in early 2021, “illegal groups and mercenaries” would be withdrawn from Donbass. According to him, this will allow local elections to be held on March 31.
Boris Gryzlov, Russia’s plenipotentiary in the contact group on Donbass, said that this plan contradicts the Minsk agreements and can be seen as a step towards a total rejection of them.
