The attacker confessed to the police that he had kidnapped the minor with criminal intentions, however, law enforcement officers did not allow them to be implemented.

In the city of Boryspil, Kiev region, a man kidnapped a four-year-old girl from a gas station while her mother paid at the cash register. Police found the boy within two hours and arrested the kidnapper. On Saturday, August 29, the press service of the Regional Police reported.

“At a gas station in the city of Boryspil, an unknown man, taking advantage of the fact that the mother was distracted from her daughter, paying for fuel, kidnapped the girl, put her in a car and disappeared in an unknown direction. The message about the kidnapping of the girl on the special line 102 was received from the parents around 8 pm ”. , – says the message.

According to the chief of the police of the Kiev region, Andrey Nebitov, a special police operation was launched to search for the attacker and arrest him. All squads of the local police, the capital and neighboring regions received orientation. Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kiev region police and a special police regiment also participated.

“Despite all the difficulties of the search, the policemen managed to find the kidnapper in two hours and save the girl from trouble. The offender was a 29-year-old local resident. The girl was returned to her parents unharmed,” said the policeman.

The attacker confessed to the police that he had kidnapped the boy with criminal intent. He is now detained and in a temporary detention center.

Criminal proceedings have been opened for the kidnapping of the minor. The attacker is threatened with restriction of freedom for up to five years or imprisonment for the same period.

Earlier, the media reported that a child was abducted from a gas station near Kiev.

A few days earlier, in Poltava, an African stole a car with children. The kidnapper turned out to be a student who came to Ukraine from Sudan to study at one of the Poltava universities.
