The Coordination Council of the Belarusian Opposition has published a video of the kidnapping of Maria Kolesnikova in the center of Minsk.
The released images were filmed on the recorder of a passing vehicle.
They show how unknown people put Kolesnikova in a dark minibus, after which they hide in an unknown direction.
Let us remind you that Kolesnikova’s abduction became known on Monday, September 7.
According to a witness, outside the National Museum of Art in Minsk, several masked men put her in a minibus with the inscription «Communication “.
The Belarusian Interior Ministry said they knew nothing about Kolesnikova’s disappearance.
Recall that after the presidential elections held in Belarus on August 9, the country’s CEC announced that Alexander Lukashenko allegedly obtained 80.08% of the votes, while his main rival, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, only 10.09%.
The majority of the population considered these results false, which is why massive protests began throughout the country, accompanied by clashes with security agents.
Water cannons, rubber bullets, tear gas and stun grenades were used against the activists, and later also firearms, killing several people.
The OSCE accused the Belarusian authorities of violating human rights and the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, called for the introduction of sanctions against the Lukashenka regime.
In addition, the EU states called for new elections in the country.
In response, the Lukashenka regime opened a criminal case on “seizure of power” against the Coordination Council of the Belarusian opposition.
Despite this, protests continue in Belarus.
