The Kievdormostproekt Institute has developed a plan for the reform of Khreshchatyk Street in the capital of Ukraine.
According to “Evening Kiev”, after its implementation, the appearance and functionality of the main street will be updated.
The renovation will start from Evropeyskaya Square, at the intersection of cobblestones and asphalt, and will last until Bessarabskaya Square, until the Taras Shevchenko Boulevard intersection. In total, 1,165 meters of road and sidewalk will be repaired.
According to the director of the institute, Vladimir Vorobyov, bike paths will be organized on the street, engineering networks will be reviewed and sources will be updated.
Damaged green spaces, tactile coverage elements and traffic lights with audible signals for people will also be replaced.
