The head of the State Judicial Administration, Zenoviy Kholodnyuk, wrote a letter of resignation. The request will be considered by the Superior Council of Justice in the near future.

This was reported to RBC-Ukraine by a source from the State Judicial Administration.

“Yes, Kholodnyuk wrote a letter of resignation,” the source said.

This declaration will be considered in the near future by the Superior Council of Justice, which will make a decision on the removal and appointment of the head of the State Judicial Administration.

Recall that on October 1, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court removed Kholodnyuk from his post. He is a suspect in the case of the former head of the Kiev District Administrative Court, Pavel Vovk.

The law enforcement officers asked for Kholodnyuk to be removed from his post due to the possibility of obstructing the investigation, illegal influence on witnesses, specialists, distortion or destruction of things and documents.

As RBC-Ukraine wrote, the head of the Kiev District Administrative Court is accused of an attempt to seize power, as well as influencing the Commission of Highly Qualified Judges.

In addition to the OASK judges, Kholodnyuk and four lawyers participated in the case.
