The chief prosecutor of the Khmelnytsky region, Oleg Sinishin, 43, was hospitalized with a coronavirus infection a few days ago. Today is gone.

On September 5, the prosecutor of the Khmelnytsky region, Oleg Sinishin, died, the head of the regional state administration, Dmitry Gabinet, said on Facebook.

According to him, on August 31, the prosecutor was hospitalized with a diagnosis of COVID-19.



Local site “Є” writes that PCR tests were carried out on 10 contact persons after Sinishin’s hospitalization.

The prosecutor was admitted to the hospital in a moderately serious condition. He was diagnosed with concomitant diseases that complicated the course of the disease. Today, around 8:00 p.m., he passed away.

Sinishin headed the prosecutor’s office for the Khmelnytsky region since 2014. He would have turned 44 on September 21. He is survived by his wife and son.

Until the morning of September 5, in Ukraine, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection reached 133 787, 2,811 people died, 61,649 recovered.
