Restrictions will increase in the red zone

Several districts and cities in the Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions also fell into the red zone.

Kharkiv region governor Oleksiy Kucher said on Thursday, October 15, that the state commission for safety and technological and environmental emergencies had brought Kharkiv and part of the region into the red quarantine zone. He wrote about this on Telegram.

Together with Kharkov, the city of Lyubotin, the Bogodukhovsky, Lozovskoy and Pervomaisky districts entered the red quarantine zone.

Also included in the red zone were Poltava and Chernivtsi, as well as the city districts of Novodnestrovsk, Kelmenetsky and Kitsmansky.

In this sense, the work of cafes, restaurants, shopping centers and entertainment facilities, as well as visits to educational institutions will be prohibited. Also, public transport should stop working.

The restrictions go into effect next week.

We recall, on October 13, the Cabinet changed the criteria for the red zone. Now it will be announced where there will be 320 patients for every 100,000 of the population within two weeks.

The quarantine itself in Ukraine was extended until December 31, 2020.
