The Russian military contingent, which entered Nagorno-Karabakh after the end of hostilities between Azerbaijan and Armenia, brought Grady with them, Reuters reported.
«One of the graduates had a Russian military registration with a regional code of 94, indicating that he belonged to the Transcaucasus military district. The other Grad did not have a license plate, but was accompanied by a KamAZ military truck with Russian license plates from the same military district, ”the message says.
As noted, Russia’s multiple launch rocket systems «peacekeepers ”was observed, in particular, in the so-called Lachin corridor, which connects Armenia with the Karabakh territory.
Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence reported that the recruitment of so-called Russian peacekeepers for Nagorno-Karabakh is underway, including in the occupied Donbass territory.
Let us remember that on September 27 the beginning of the Azerbaijani military operation against the Armed Forces of Armenia in Nagorno-Karabakh was known.
As a result of active hostilities, Baku managed to regain control of several settlements, including Shushi, which is one of the key cities in the region.
Subsequently, on November 10, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he had signed an agreement with Azerbaijan and Russia to end the war in Nagorno-Karabakh, prompting mass protests in Yerevan.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Russian and Turkish military will oversee the ceasefire in the region.
The dispute over Karabakh has lasted since 1991. During the armed conflict, which continues with varying intensity, tens of thousands of people died.
The most acute phase of the confrontation ended in 1994 after the signing of the so-called Bishkek Protocol, which resulted in the formation of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
Formally, this territory is part of Azerbaijan, but the majority of its population is Armenian.
