Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov

The day before, Kadyrov condemned the French leader for speaking in support of the prophet’s cartoons. He accused Macron of supporting the provocations.

Chechnya chief Ramzan Kadyrov said he was willing to “suffer” for his remarks about French President Emmanuel Macron, who criticized radical Islamism, and to resign. On Wednesday October 28, Kadyrov wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

“For this position, if necessary, I am ready to leave my position, suffer or give my life! But silently watching atheists make fun of religion, I cannot and will not.” – he declared.

He added that he does not renounce the words said above and is ready to defend them.

“This is my right as a person who loves his religion immensely and strictly observes all the prescriptions of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah,” explained the head of Chechnya on a Telegram channel.

The day before, Kadyrov appealed to the French president and demanded that Macron stop, “before it is too late, the provocations and attacks on faith.”

“Otherwise, he will go down in history as a president who made extravagant decisions,” said the Chechen leader.

According to him, the position of the French president, who defended the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad after the murder of a teacher in the suburbs of Paris, is absurd. Macron is the main “inspirer of terrorism” in France, believes the head of Chechnya.

After that, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, reminded Kadyrov that the heads of the regions cannot deal with foreign policy.

Earlier, the French president announced his intention to protect Islam in France from foreign influence and tighter control over the sources of funding for mosques.

This happened after the tragedy in the city of Conflans-Saint-Honorine, where an Islamic radical beheaded a history teacher who showed his students cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad as an example of the expression of freedom of opinion.
