The rocket attack on Kabul began immediately after two explosions in the city.

On November 21, the Afghan capital, Kabul, was hit with rockets, killing eight civilians. Local television channel TOLOnews reported this with reference to the country’s Interior Ministry.

31 people were injured.

According to Afghan law enforcement, a total of 23 rockets were fired at different regions of Kabul.

The rocket attack began two minutes after two explosions occurred in the country’s capital. One of the rockets fell on the territory of the Iranian embassy.

Police say the bombing came from Kabul itself.

Among the victims are a sister and a brother who had lunch at their home, as well as a security officer, and three of their companions were injured.

TOLOnews notes that the Taliban have denied any involvement in the bombing.

February 29, 2020 United States and the Taliban signed an agreement on the start of the peace process in Afghanistan. That provides for the gradual withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan, provided the Taliban abide by their part of the agreement: initiate negotiations with the Afghan government, observe the truce, and prevent the use of Afghan territory for activities that threaten the security of the United States and its allies .
