A column of many thousands in the center of Minsk goes out every time the security forces block its path to avoid conflict.

«On Yanka Kupala Street, two men tried to provoke people: they say, we are many, what we are afraid of, we will go to the fence. But the protesters did not give up and turned around again, headed towards the Komarovsky market on Kuibyshev street, ”reports Euroradio.

The security forces completely blocked Independence Avenue: according to TUT.BY reported, in Gorodsky Val towards Independence Avenue, the road was blocked by a rice wagon and railroad cars. Later, only security agents with shields and “several military jeeps” remained at the fence.

Also, in the entrances to Independence Avenue, we noticed water cannons. A column of 15 rice wagons, several buses and buses moved towards Gorky Park.

According to the Viasna human rights center, 24 people have already been detained in Minsk and 25 people have been detained in regions where mass protests are also taking place.

At 5:30 p.m., the Belsat newspaper reported on the arrests on Maksim Bogdanovich Street in the capital of Belarus.

On Sunday, September 20, the Justice March takes place in Minsk. Belarusians are asked «show your sanctions candidate on the march, who has sunk into your soul ”: print portraits of security officials and electoral manipulators with your personal details.

A few hours before the start of the protest, the city center was closed, squares were fenced off and special teams and security forces were shot down. Also, before the action, all the metro stations were closed.

In Belarus, after unprecedented fraud in the presidential elections on August 9, a wave of protests and strikes began, which have been going on for more than a month. Belarusians are demanding new fair and transparent elections.

During the dispersion of the anti-government demonstrations, several protesters were killed and more than 12,000 people were arrested.

Stun grenades, tear gas, rubber bullets were used against the protesters and they were brutally beaten. Many were imprisoned for several days, subjected to cruel and inhuman torture and punishment.

The EU did not recognize the results of the elections in Belarus and promised to impose sanctions on Belarusian officials involved in electoral fraud and massive crackdowns on peaceful protesters as soon as possible.
