British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron during a telephone conversation on Monday, September 7, discussed the situation with Alexei Navalny, according to the British Prime Minister’s Chancellor.

According to the statement, the parties expressed their outrage at the incident and asked Moscow to provide explanations.

“Prime Minister and President Macron expressed their outrage at the attack on Alexei Navalny and reiterated that Russia must urgently explain how the opposition leader was poisoned with the help of Novichok,” the statement said.

Let us remind you that the German government announced that Navalny was poisoned by Novichok. Tests in a German laboratory revealed traces of “a Novichok group chemical nerve agent.”
