From December 24 to January 6, Italy will go into quarantine at the national level. This decision was announced on December 18 by the country’s prime minister, Giuseppe Conte. Reports from La Repubblica.
Bars, restaurants and shops (except grocery stores) will be closed during this time. For four business days (December 28, 29, 30 and January 4), trips are allowed between small cities at a distance of up to 30 km.
It is noted that such measures will protect the country from the third wave of coronavirus.
