It’s increasingly difficult for Washington to impose sanctions against Russia
There are not many opportunities to impose sanctions against Russia, Trump complains.
The US President’s National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien said on Friday, October 16, that it is becoming more difficult for Washington to find targets for sanctions in Russia, Interfax writes.
“There are not many opportunities left for Russia to impose sanctions … There is little we can do regarding Russia on the sanctions front. It becomes more difficult to do because of the restrictive nature of the existing sanctions,” said O ‘ Brien.
It should be noted that among the latest sanctions that the United States imposed against Russia are restrictive measures for interference in elections and activities in the cyber sphere.
At the moment, Congress is a series of proposals for additional sanctions against Russia.
In the Kremlin, these kinds of actions by the United States are called “dependency sanctions.”
