A weapons and explosives factory and a Palestinian military base were attacked.
The Israeli army launched airstrikes against targets of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip in response to the firing of 15 rockets. This was reported by the Israel Defense Forces in Twitter Wednesday 16th September.
“Terrorists in Gaza have fired 15 rockets at Israel since last night. In response, our air forces attacked Hamas facilities in the Gaza Strip, including a weapons and explosives factory and a military base,” the text says.
Early Tuesday, the Palestinians fired two rockets at Israel. One of them was intercepted by the air defense system.
This happened during the signing ceremony in Washington of the agreements on the normalization of relations between Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
