The last two days in Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Health, 55,000 to 58,000 coronavirus tests have been carried out. Last week, the number of tests reached nearly 75,000 a day.
The number of tests for the coronavirus has decreased in Ukraine. This is demonstrated by data from the Ministry of Health, which is published daily on Facebook by the head of the department, Maxim Stepanov.
Today it reported 58,871 tests in 24 hours, yesterday it reported 55,070 studies on Monday.
At the same time, last week the number of tests carried out reached 74,880 (Thursday, December 3).
On Monday, November 30, 62,327 tests were carried out; Tuesday, December 1 – 67,626; Wednesday, December 2 – 72,678.
Therefore, the tests are carried out this week in approximately 20% less than in the same days of the previous week.
On November 6, Stepanov reported a record number of coronavirus tests per day – more than 80,000.
As of December 9, 845,343 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Ukraine, of which 12,585 were in the last day. Since the start of the epidemic, 14,204 COVID-19 patients have died in the country and 451,118 have recovered.
