As the plot goes, in different regions gas prices vary from 6 to almost 9 hryvnia per cubic meter.

As experts warn, this price hike may not be the last.

Today, some 50 companies supply gas to the population, most of which have already announced rate increases.

Maxim Rabinovich, director of the gas supply company Naftogaz Ukraine LLC, said that the increase in tariffs is an exclusively seasonal phenomenon.

“The price of the European centers of the world is growing during the heating season, this is an absolutely normal practice,” Rabinovich said.

As the plot goes, Ukrainians have the opportunity to refuse a provider whose rates will be too high. To do this, you must write a suitable request and indicate the desired new provider.

The Ministry of Social Policy says that the rise in gas prices will not affect the beneficiaries of the subsidies. If the beneficiaries did not increase their income and there was no increase in pensions or wages in their families, this winter they will pay for gas the same as last season.
