As a result of a collision with an emergency hatch, which was in the road, its cover flew out from under the car and struck an oncoming vehicle.
In the Lviv region, a traffic accident occurred involving a car belonging to the State Emergency Service, as a result of which an 11-year-old boy died. This was reported by the regional department of the department on Monday, March 22.
It is indicated that yesterday the service car of the operational coordination center of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region continued to the scene of the fire with the beacons lit and a special acoustic signal.
“As a result of a collision with an emergency hatch, which was in the road, a tragedy occurred. The hatch cover flew out from under the car and struck an oncoming car,” the message reads.
It is noted that as a result of the accident, an 11-year-old boy who was in the passenger compartment of an oncoming car was killed.
“The staff of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region are shocked by the tragic incident and express their sincere condolences to the family of the deceased child,” the rescuers added.
Earlier it was reported that an accident occurred in the Donetsk region in the city of Toretsk, as a result of which two people were killed and three more were injured.
It was also learned that in the Kharkiv region six people were injured in an accident. Near the town of Shestakovo, two cars collided: a Tesla driven by a 58-year-old driver and a Nissan X-Trail driven by a 37-year-old man.
