In the Lugansk region, only 42 cases of coronavirus

In the Lugansk region, the lowest number of coronavirus cases in Ukraine is 42. 17 people recovered, there were no fatal results.

For more than a week, no new cases of coronavirus have been detected in the Lugansk region, reports the YEA press service on Friday, May 15.

The head of the Lugansk Regional State Administration Sergei Gaidai explains this by the fact that strict quarantine restrictions were introduced in a timely manner.

According to him, the epidemiological situation in the region is controlled: “For more than a week, people have only recovered.”

Gaidai believes this is the result of the fact that “the migration of the population at the beginning of the epidemic was mainly internal, and the quarantine measures were very strict.”

At the same time, he specified that a second wave of the disease is expected in the region.

As you know, in the Lugansk region, the lowest number of coronavirus cases is 42. At the same time, 17 people recovered and none of the patients died.
