The security forces quickly detained the extortionists

Agents of the National Police arrested a group of extortionists in the Kiev region who kidnapped and tortured a businessman. This was reported on Saturday November 7 by the Interfax-Ukraine news agency with reference to the National Police.
Among those detained are four citizens of Kazakhstan and two residents of the Kiev region. Local residents were detained by the police with the support of special forces.
During the raids, a large number of weapons of various modifications, ammunition, fists, knives, balaclavas, walkie-talkies, wigs, gloves, mobile phones, bank cards, drugs and money were seized from the detainees.
Likewise, the vehicles in which the criminals were traveling were seized. The oldest of the detainees, a 49-year-old resident of the Kiev region, had previously served time for theft and robbery.
The court chose him as a preventive measure detention without the right to pay bail.
As previously reported, in Kharkov, law enforcement officers detained a gang that extorted $ 100,000 from a local resident. It consisted of four local residents, including two Caucasians.
