During the last day, according to the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, eight doctors confirmed coronavirus infection in the region. A total of 274 people were diagnosed with COVID-19.
As of May 1, in the Kharkiv region, 73 medical workers were infected with the coronavirus. It is informed Interfax-Ukraine with reference to data from the Kharkov regional state administration.
During the last day, coronavirus infection was diagnosed in eight doctors.
In total, as of the morning of May 1, 274 cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in the region (26 of them recovered, four died). Thus, medical workers represent more than a quarter of cases (26.64%).
An outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus infection started in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. On March 11, the World Health Organization announced the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. As of May 1, 3.3 million people were infected with coronavirus infection, of which 235,000 died, 1.04 million recovered, according to Johns Hopkins University of America.
As of May 1, the total number of coronaviruses infected in Ukraine is 10 861 people (+455 for the last day), 272 of them died (+11), 1413 recovered (+175). The maximum number of cases was registered in the Kiev (1453), Chernivtsi (1667) and Ivano-Frankivsk (899) regions.
According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 2,154 health workers were infected with coronavirus in Ukraine (19.83% of the total number of cases).
