A total of 124 medical personnel found COVID-19
During the last day, 44 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the Kharkov region, including 9 among medical workers. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram of the head of the Kharkov Regional State Administration Alexey Kucher.
New cases were discovered among residents of Kharkov, as well as in the Pervomaisk, Kharkov, Chuguevsky, Shevchenkovsky, Zachepilovsky and Kupyansky districts.
“According to epidemiological research, there are 9 doctors among the sick,” said Kucher.
In total, since the beginning of the epidemic, 572 cases of infections have been recorded. Due to complications caused by the coronavirus, 16 residents of the region died. Another 67 recovered and were discharged from hospitals, including 6 in the last 24 hours.
Recall, on May 8, in the Kharkov region, laboratory coronavirus was confirmed in 6 medical workers.
About 10 infected doctors were also reported in the Krasnograd district of the Kharkov region. According to the Krasnograd Regional State Administration, the coronavirus in doctors was confirmed after contact with a patient with COVID-19.
According to the Ukrainian National Health Service, in the Kharkiv region, 124 doctors became ill with coronavirus. COVID-19 suspect has 148 doctors. In total, about 3,000 cases of coronavirus are known among medical personnel in Ukraine.
