Head coach Andriy Shevchenko spoke to the press before the friendly match with the Polish team at a traditional press conference.

We have a great relationship with Jerzy Dudek, I respect him. Recently, we haven’t seen each other that often, but before, quite often. I don’t think those events have anything to do with tomorrow’s game. I would focus on questions about tomorrow’s game, this is more relevant and interesting.
– Ukraine will have three away games. How do you plan to distribute forces?
– We do not distribute forces. We are balancing the team to successfully play three games. We have a first friendly match, then two LN games.
– Is the absence of Robert Lewandowski a plus for the Ukrainian team?
– About Robert Lewandowski. I want to congratulate him on a great season, may he continue in the same spirit. Good to see him play. Each of us solves our own problems. We understand that there are official matches ahead. The task of the Polish coach is also to better prepare the team, to balance it so that the other players do not receive enough workload and are fresher for the main matches.
