For a month and a half after employment, the attacker worked 15 shifts at his post.

For a fixed amount, the attacker ensured the unhindered passage of vehicles across the border.

Law enforcement officers exposed the Galician customs inspector of Yavorov’s customs, who was systematically soliciting bribes. This was reported by the SBU on Tuesday, December 1.

According to the investigation, the official organized a corruption mechanism in the customs clearance of the cars.

For a fixed amount, the attacker ensured the unhindered passage of vehicles across the border. Special services operatives have documented that during the shift the customs officer received 60 thousand hryvnia, – says the message.

As noted, for a month and a half after employment, the attacker worked at his post for 15 shifts.

A criminal case was initiated under the article on the acceptance of a proposal, a promise or the obtaining of an illegal benefit by an official (part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The implication of the management of the customs post in the corruption is being verified.

Previously, customs agents were caught accepting bribes at Borispol airport. The bribes “earned” from $ 2 to $ 4,000 for each flight. They demanded money from the passengers so as not to create obstacles when passing through customs.

It was also reported that the Transcarpathian customs liquidated the plan for the importation of “eurobies”. Customs officials estimated the cost of their services at an average of € 700 per car. On average, up to € 10 invoices per shift passed through the customs post.
