In the scientific works of some members of the Commission of Academic Virtue of the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” plagiarism discovered.
This is reported on the “Errors and Counterfeits in Scientific Research” website. It should be noted that previously it was this commission that did not recognize the presence of plagiarism in the works of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Serhiy Shkarlet.
70 pages of text loaned without references to sources were found in the doctoral thesis of the president of the commission Victoria Margasova… The work was defended in 2015.
Experts said the woman copied information from Russian sources. Furthermore, in the text, the expression “Russian economic mentality” is repeatedly replaced by “national economic mentality”.
The conclusions of the dissertation allegedly contain borrowings of the material from 7 years ago. Furthermore, Margasova published two nearly identical articles in two magazines, sending a second article to the editor almost a year after the first.
Plagiarism was also found in the dissertation of a member of the commission Alina pinchukthat he defended in 2020.
In addition to borrowing without references, the experts found that in the section “List of papers published on the subject of the dissertation” Pinchuk indicated texts that are not mentioned on the Internet.
It should be noted that the chairman of the defense commission for Pinchuk’s dissertation was Margasova.
Recall that on December 21, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in an extraordinary meeting removed Shkarlet from the post of Deputy Minister of Education and Science for European Integration in order to appoint him as head of the Ministry of Education and Science.
