In Moscow, at the age of 97, the Russian Artist of Honor, the oldest actor in the Vakhtangov Theater, Evgeny Fedorov died. This was reported on the social network on the theater page.
Death is specified to have occurred as a result of illness. The artist died in his apartment on Thursday April 30 at night.
“Despite a serious illness, Evgeny Evgenievich went to his native stage almost until the end of his days,” they noted in the theater, where the artist worked for more than 75 years.

Evgeny Fedorov was born on March 3, 1924.
In 1945 he graduated from the Boris Schukin Theater School (Anna Orochko and Cecilia Mansurova course). Along with him, Vladimir Etush, Gottlieb Roninson, Yakov Smolensky, Nina Arkhipova, Gennady Yudin, and others studied on the course.
After graduating from university, Fedorov was accepted into the company of the Vakhtangov Theater.
