In an accident in Vyazma, Smolensk region, in the Russian Federation, three Ukrainians were injured and one died.

On the night of May 9 in the city of Vyazma, Smolensk region, Russia, a traffic accident occurred, the victim of which was a citizen of Ukraine. On this “Ukrainian truth,” said the director of the consular service department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergey Pogoreltsev.

“According to the General Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Smolensk region, as a result of an accident, one Ukrainian citizen died and three Ukrainians were injured. The body of the deceased was handed over to the Vyazemsky Central District Hospital,” said the diplomatic.

According to him, one Ukrainian received minor injuries, the second, moderate injuries, which are not life-threatening. The third wounded Ukrainian was taken to the intensive care unit of a local hospital in serious condition.

At the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Smolensk region they said two Chevrolet Cruze and Lada Kalina cars collided.

According to Usedcars.ru, the 26-year-old passenger Lada Kalina died, other victims also from this car. Chevrolet Cruze allegedly drove into the oncoming lane and crashed into Mazda and Lada Kalina.
