In Pskov, Russia, a soldier accidentally fired a cannon from an airborne assault vehicle (BMD-4) into a shopping mall, and the shell hit the Children’s World department. At that time, there were people in the store, and just by miracle there were no casualties.

The incident took place on the territory of a military unit. This was reported on December 25 by the Baza Telegram channel.

It turned out that 19-year-old Corporal Komarov, who served on the BMD-4, “distinguished himself” and suddenly “something went wrong.”

As a result, the soldier fired two shots into the air with an automatic cannon.

“Everything could probably be silenced, but a blank ammunition flew into the roof of the Fjord Plaza shopping and entertainment center, pierced it and landed on the second floor. Right on Detsky Mir,” the publication says.

Due to the sudden attack on the mall, some 300 people had to be evacuated. No injured visitors were reported.

Police and National Guard agents worked at the scene.

It is observed that the second projectile flew in an unknown direction, where the impact of the munitions is not yet known.

It was previously reported that in September a rocket fell during an exercise in Russia, and the military dispersed to the sides with obscenities: a video of the incident, filmed by the soldiers themselves, appeared online.

We also wrote that recently in Russia the military burned their own equipment during exercises, and a video of the incident appeared on the network.
