On Sunday May 10, the body of a Ukrainian citizen was found in the port of Rotterdam. The 39-year-old woman was a member of the crew of the Regal Princess cruise ship docked in one of the berths; his body was found in the water. A preliminary cause of death for Ukrainians is called suicide.
Interfax-Ukraine writes about this with reference to the director of the consular service department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergey Pogoreltsev.
So, the body of a Ukrainian woman was found in the water. According to the Dutch police, she died as a result of suicide. The woman’s body has already been taken to the morgue in Rotterdam, and her relatives were informed of the incident.
The Foreign Ministry states that the Ukrainian embassy in the Netherlands is in contact with the local police and medical facilities, and also takes all measures to organize the transport of the body of the deceased to his homeland for funerals.
