Quebec Police (Canada) arrested a suspect after he killed two people during a Halloween celebration in a medieval costume with a cold weapon. Five more were injured.
It is reported in the CBC issue. The incident took place in central Quebec, near the Quebec Parliament.
Police spokesman Etienne Doyon said the suspect was in his 20s.
He said that five victims were taken to a local hospital with varying degrees of injuries. The suspect was also taken to the hospital for examination, Doyon said. He also asked people to call emergency services if they have information about what happened.
“On behalf of the Quebec police, I would like to express my sincere condolences to the families and friends of those who died today,” said Doyon.
He did not say whether the attacks were accidental.
