Georgian citizens were arrested. Are loaded
The fight was sparked by reckoning between men, possibly on ethnic grounds.
In western Poland, in the center of the city of Sieraków in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, a group of Georgian citizens attacked Ukrainians with knives. This was reported yesterday by Polish radio with reference to the local police.
It is indicated that the cause of the fight was the settlement of accounts between men, possibly on the basis of ethnicity.
“Four adult foreigners attacked a group of three other foreigners using sharp objects, probably knives. After the fight, they fled the scene, leaving bloodied wounded men,” the report says.
It is known that one of the injured after the incident ran to a nearby store and asked for help. Draku was seen by one of the residents of the neighboring house and reported the incident to the police and an ambulance.
It turned out that the injured were citizens of Ukraine, who were attacked by Georgians. They are all employees of Polish companies and now live in the Miedzychodzha district of the Greater Poland Voivodeship.
Multiple stabbing victims received medical attention, and police soon detained four intruders. Georgian citizens were arrested and charged, for which they face six months to eight years in prison.
The injured Ukrainians were hospitalized and one of them had an operation.
Earlier, a 55-year-old Ukrainian citizen was killed in the Polish city of Katowice. He fell off a scaffold and hit his head. It took two hours to hospitalize the victim from the 11th floor. The man died in hospital.
