A gust of wind knocked down about 60 trees in three villages in the Arbuzinsky district. Schools, kindergartens and residential buildings were damaged.
In the Nikolaev region, bad weather damaged the roofs of about 30 buildings in the residential sector, three schools and a kindergarten, about 60 trees fell. This was announced on Saturday, October 17, in the press service of the State Emergency Service.
“On October 17, in the villages of Blagodatnoye, Ryabokonovo and Semenovka, Arbuzinsky district, as a result of worsening weather conditions (rain, gusts of wind), the roofs of about 30 buildings in the residential sector, 3 schools and 1 kindergarten was partially damaged. About 60 trees were felled, “the statement said.
It is observed that there are no victims or injuries as a result of bad weather. Emergency crews from utility companies are working to eliminate the consequences of bad weather.
Let us remind you that a severe hurricane also struck Kropyvnytskyi today. There, a gust of wind tore down the roofs of houses, broke fences, damaged walls and power lines.
Before that, a heavy downpour flooded the streets of Kiev. In particular, several streets in the Lukyanovka, Kurenevka and Vinogradar area were flooded.
