In Nikolaev, the police arrested former people’s deputy Alexander Zholobetsky.
According to Novosti-N, the former politician drank in one of the city’s establishments and left drunk. In a call to 102, the patrollers stopped the car with Zholobetsky at the wheel.
The driver did not get out of the car and, after a brief conversation with the police, tried to escape by car. However, in a short chase, the patrolmen caught up with the car and forced it to stop. Then the man got out of the car and introduced himself. On the offer to pass the test on the Drager breathalyzer, Zholobetsky refused, he also refused to go to the drug laboratory.
When communicating with the patrols, the former popular deputy behaved aggressively. There was a conflict that caused the police to handcuff him. Also during the crash, Zholobetsky broke his face.
Note that his wife was traveling with him in the car. Together they were taken to the local police station, where the conflict continued. Zholobetsky tried to leave the police station building, but was arrested, having said that he was suspected of causing bodily harm to a police officer.
