In Nikolaev, the police detained the hooligan man and put a handbrake on him. Later, the detainee fell ill and died, the regional department of the National Police reported the day before.

It is indicated that the event occurred on September 3. Police were informed that on 1st Ingulskaya Street in the central district of Nikolaev, an unknown person behaves inappropriately: commits hooligan actions, throws bricks at passersby.

Squads were dispatched to the scene, the first to arrive was the squad of police on duty. The man began to resist and, to calm the bully, they handcuffed him.

The man became ill, so the security police removed the handcuffs and began to provide assistance and called an ambulance. However, unfortunately, the doctors who arrived at the scene only recorded the death of the 29-year-old man, the report says.

The Police assured that the performance of the employees will be legally assessed.
