In different parts of the city, protesters line up in solidarity chains and block roads. As reported by TUT. BY, in Shabany, tires caught fire on the road.

In the Kamennaya Gorka area, the road was filled with plastic blocks.

According to Belsat, the security forces have already dismantled the barricade in Kamennaya Gorka and left. Here, protesters were dispersed with stun grenades.

«Trucks and minibuses with riot police move chaotically through the city, trying to disperse and grab people. Gun shots are heard, flash grenades go off. As soon as the columns of punishers leave, the people immediately meet again, ”writes the opposition channel NEXTA.

Let us remind you that the Pensioners’ March was held in Minsk on October 12. Several thousand people participated. A column of protesters, mostly women with flowers and white, red and white flags, marched along Independence Avenue toward Yakub Kolas Square.

When the march passed by the Belarusian National Technical University, students came out to support the protesters. The arrests began, the retirees tried to recover the students, in response the security forces used tear gas and flash cartridges.

After a massive fraud in the presidential elections in Belarus, protests and strikes began across the country. The protests against Alexander Lukashenko’s false victory have been going on for two months. Belarusians are demanding new and fair elections and the release of political prisoners.

In a brutal crackdown on anti-government demonstrations, at least four protesters were killed. Thousands of people were arrested.

On September 23, Alexander Lukashenko was sworn in as President of Belarus for a new term. The opening ceremony was held in secret. Most countries did not recognize Lukashenko as the reelected president of Belarus.
