In the Lvov region, in Lavochnoye village, Skole district, a local activist opposing deforestation was beaten and tied to a truck during deforestation. This was announced by Vladimir Yavdik on Facebook.

It is reported that despite all the appeals and resistance of the local population, massive deforestation continues.

Neighbors intervened in the situation, rescued the activist and called the police.

It was also reported that the Ministry of Ecology estimated the volume of illegal logging. The shadow market for the timber trade is approximately 30% of the legal market and is estimated at five billion hryvnia.
