Lviv law enforcement officials have completed an investigation into 10 members of the district electoral commission. They are suspected of forgery during the second round of the mayoral elections. The defendants falsified the protocols on the counting of votes, reports the press service of the police of the Lviv region.

“On November 22, the police received a message from an official observer that at one of the polling stations in the Sikhivskyi district of Lviv, members of the district electoral commission forged the protocols for counting the votes of voters. .. the final filling of the protocol and not at a commission meeting, “the ministry said in a statement.

On this fact, the police initiated a criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Art. 28 – Part 1 of Art. 158-3 (Forgery, falsification, theft, damage or destruction of electoral documents, committed by a group of people) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The charges were sent to court. The suspects face two to six years in prison.

We will remember, after the elections, the police announced 2.4 thousand violations.
