When militants fired at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Prichepilovka area of the Lugansk region, the Joint Forces opened fire in response, the JFO headquarters said.

On September 6, a military member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died as a result of the bombing of militants in the Luhansk region. This was reported on Facebook by the press center of the Joint Operations Headquarters (JF).

“The armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the full and complete ceasefire a second time. The enemy opened fire with small arms at positions of the Joint Forces units near Prichepilovka in the Lugansk region. Unfortunately, one member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was injured in a way incompatible with life. ” – says the message.

The JFO headquarters stressed that in response to the bombardment by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “they used the available firepower and gave the armed formations of the Russian Federation a dignified rejection.”

“Enemy losses are being specified,” the press center noted.

Previously, at the headquarters of the JFO, they spoke about the injury of a military as a result of the bombings and two, in the explosion of an unknown device. Also today it was known about the death of two soldiers in a minefield during the evacuation of the place of the fire.

In 2014, immediately after the annexation of Crimea, Russia launched an armed aggression in eastern Ukraine. The fighting is between the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the one hand, and the Russian army and the Russian-backed militants who control parts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, on the other. The Russian Federation does not officially recognize its invasion of Ukraine, despite the facts and evidence presented by Ukraine.

July 22, 2020 Trilateral Contact Group agreed to a total and complete ceasefire in Donbas since midnight on July 27. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the United Forces in Donbass will respond to enemy bombardment and after the entry into force of the truce.
