In Kryvyi Rih, on one of the streets in the Dolgintsevsky district, a car crashed into a pole. A stabbed driver was found behind the wheel, according to the National Police Department in the Dnipropetrovsk region on Friday, February 12.

The passenger claimed that the driver stabbed himself in the neck while driving. But the nature and number of injuries to the man’s body did not indicate suicide.

“According to what was established, while she was driving in the car there was a conflict between the woman and her partner, during which the aggressor stabbed the man numerous times in the neck with a knife. The 27-year-old driver died while driving, and the suspect, in order to conceal his involvement in the crime, told everyone about his suicide, “police said.

Law enforcement officers questioned a 28-year-old female passenger and she confessed to the crime. The girl was arrested.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under the article on premeditated murder (part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) (murder). The detainee faces up to 15 years in prison. The question of choosing for her a preventive measure in the form of detention is being resolved.
