The 29-year-old man who stabbed two people to death and injured eight more passersby on 7 November in Krivoy Rog, Dnipropetrovsk region, was arrested without the right to pay bail.

“Today, November 9, the Tsentralno-Gorodskiy district court in Krivoy Rog chose a 29-year-old man as a preventive measure in the form of detention for 60 days without the right to pay bail,” the statement said.
The suspect was informed about the suspicion in part 2 of paragraph 1 of art. 115 of the Penal Code (premeditated homicide) and part 2 of art. 15, h. 2 P. 1, 2 of art. 115 (attempted murder). He faces between 10 and 15 years in prison or life in prison.
On November 7, an attack on bystanders took place in Kryvyi Rih. Two men died, eight people, including an eight-year-old boy, were injured, four of them are still in hospital. The attacker was arrested on the day of the incident. He said he killed “in the name of God” and that “God told him” to kill 15 people.
