Suspecting the murder of two people, the Krivoy Rog police arrested a 37-year-old man on 7 November. In addition, the attacker stabbed eight more people, including an 8-year-old boy.
The Kryvyi Rih Police Department reported this on Facebook.
The report about “a man throwing himself at people with a knife on the street in the Metallurgichesky district” was received by the police on November 7 at approximately 3:20 pm.
Casual bystanders became victims of the attacker, who were stabbed by the man. As a result, two people died at the scene, eight more were taken to hospital. Among them is an eight-year-old boy.
The attacker was arrested and taken to the Kryvyi Rih Police Station. He turned out to be a local resident born in 1983.
On this fact, a criminal process has been opened under art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder). Police officers find out all the circumstances of the case.
