The Kiev prosecutor’s office reported the suspicion of robbery to 5 people, 2 of whom are current police officers.
This was reported by the press service of the Kiev city prosecutor’s office. Suspects can choose a preventive measure in the form of arrest.
According to prosecutors, in May 2020, two police officers entered into an agreement with three people of Georgian nationality.
Together they organized and carried out a robbery of the apartment of a neighbor in the capital, from where they stole $ 13,000. The cybercriminals divided this money among themselves.
Law enforcement officers managed to locate the thieves. All gang members were informed of the suspicion. Searches were made at their places of residence, during which they found a set of master keys and a special tool with which the thieves entered the citizen’s home.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by RRB agents with the participation of the Internal Security Department of the National Police, as it turned out to be the suspects.
As OBOZREVATEL reported, in the Kiev region, the police detained a transnational criminal group consisting of foreigners and Kyiv residents. In the criminal account of criminals: robbery, kidnapping, extortion, robbery in businesses and offices, burning of a car.
