During the past day, more than 500 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Kiev, 120 people have recovered. This was announced on Monday, January 4, by the mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko.
“In Kiev during the last day – 504 patients with coronavirus. 14 people died. In total, during the pandemic in the capital, 1977 deaths from the virus. There are already 113,523 confirmed cases of the disease today,” he said.

Klitschko noted that most cases of the disease were found in the Darnytskyi region – 192, in the Dnieper region – 84 and in the Solomensky region – 51 cases.
Recall, on the eve, about 370 new COVID-19 patients were reported per day in the capital, 21 people died.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine as a whole, more than four thousand new cases of COVID-19 were detected.
