From Thursday April 16 to Monday April 20, all vehicles carrying more than three people will pass thermometry at the entrance to Kiev. In addition, on commemorative days all city cemeteries will be closed.
Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this at a briefing.
“I would like to point out that from Thursday, April 16 until next Monday, we will strengthen the control at the posts shown at all entrances to Kiev. In particular, the mandatory thermometry of passengers going to the capital is introduced. This applies to buses, cargo and passengers, passenger cars that carry more than three people, including the driver, “said Klitschko.
He added that during the commemorative days, all Kiev cemeteries, in accordance with the decision of the Emergency Management Commission, will be closed.
“The commemoration was postponed to June 6. I will recall that the representatives of the denominations, with whom I have met repeatedly, made a proposal to postpone the commemorative days,” said Klitschko.
The Mayor urged the people of Kiev to stay home during the Easter holidays: “I appeal again to the people of Kiev and to all Ukrainians. Stay home during the Easter holidays! Do not hurt yourself or your Loved ones! We don’t need an illness after Easter. Enter the infectious room. “
Recall that as of 9:00 am on April 14 in Ukraine, 3,372 laboratories confirmed 3,372 cases of coronavirus.
Klitschko previously reported that the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is quarantined due to more than 90 confirmed coronavirus cases there.
